What do I need to run it?
A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later), a webcam and a mic. AI edit runs through your own Claude Code, so you need a Claude Pro or Max plan or an Anthropic API key. The setup wizard installs Claude Code and walks you through signing in.
Is it really a one-time price?
Yes. $99 buys a license for Temper AI Studio with updates to the 1.x version. There is no subscription to us. AI edits use your own Claude plan, the same as any other Claude Code request.
Do my recordings get uploaded?
No. Recording, transcription and rendering all happen on your Mac. For an AI edit, Studio sends the transcript of your take to Claude through your own Claude Code account. Your video files stay on your computer.
Do I need to know how to edit video?
No. Studio is built for people who would rather talk than scrub a timeline. You review the cut, say what to change, and export.
Can I use it on more than one Mac?
Yes. Your license covers you, the person who bought it, on up to two Macs you use.
What if it is not for me?
Email support@temper-ai.com within 14 days of buying and we will refund you in full. No forms, no hoops.
How do I get the app after I pay?
Checkout is handled by Stripe. Right after you pay, you get an email with a download link and your license key. Paste the key into Studio the first time you open it.
Does it work on Windows or Intel Macs?
Not yet. Studio is built for Apple silicon Macs today. Email us if you want to hear when that changes.
